Estimated Billing: Group seeks speedy passage of bill criminalising act

A group, ‘Electricity Consumer Protection Forum’ has called for the speedy passage of the bill seeking to criminalise estimated billings by Electricity Distribution Companies (Discos) in the country.

Its National Coordinator, Mr Adeola Samuel-Ilori, made the call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Monday.

Samuel-Ilori was reacting to a recent resolution of the Senate which urged the Federal Government to explore nuclear options in resolving Nigeria’s energy crisis.
